newcastle racecourse - bottomless brunch

Newcastle Racecourse – Bottomless Brunch Review

We attended Newcastle Racecourse’s Saturday floodlit fixture to experience the new Bottomless Brunch Package hosted in the Park View Suite — and we certainly weren’t disappointed.

Arriving through the main entrance, we were greeted by a lovely member of staff (Malibu) who handed us our badges and directed us to the suite. After making our way to the top floor, we were pleasantly surprised by the modern, relaxed layout and décor of the restaurant. Once checked in on the table plan, we were shown to our table by another welcoming team member, who explained how the bottomless package worked before promptly taking our first drink orders.

The package offers 90 minutes of bottomless drinks, with an impressive selection that included:

• Prosecco

• House Wines – Red / White / Rosé

• Beers – Guinness / Kronenbourg / Poretti / Wainwright / Shipyard

• Ciders – Somersby Apple / Somersby Black

We opted for the Guinness and Prosecco. The staff’s suggestion to serve a bottle rather than a glass of Prosecco was a simple but thoughtful touch that showed how attentive and efficient the service was. As for the Guinness — normally £7.60 a pint — the bottomless option offered superb value for money if you managed four or five pints during the 90-minute period. Each pint was perfectly poured at the right temperature, served in a proper Guinness glass, complete with the signature shamrock on top. The smaller details make a huge difference, especially at this price point, and this barman certainly understood the assignment.

Alongside the drinks, guests can choose from a menu of main meals which, on the evening, included:

• Chicken Tikka Pizza

• Braised Beef Burger

• Pan-Roasted Lemon & Rosemary Marinated Chicken

• Root Vegetable Tikka Masala (V)

We went for the Chicken Tikka Pizza — a generous portion with a crisp base and just the right amount of heat to complement the Guinness perfectly. Our second choice, the Smoked Brisket Burger, came with truffle and Parmesan chips, coleslaw, and a side of gravy that, once poured, made the beef beautifully tender. Both meals arrived early into the 90-minute window, meaning we could relax and enjoy the racing afterwards — another example of how well thought-out the package is.

The Park View Suite itself is bright, modern, and spacious, complete with a Tote, a fully stocked paid bar, and multiple screens showing racing from other meetings. The suite also boasts access to a private grandstand area, offering exceptional views of the entire track and a perfect vantage point over the parade ring and winning post. It’s an excellent feature, especially on cooler evenings when you can choose to stay indoors and still feel part of the action thanks to the panoramic windows.

Throughout the experience, staff kept guests updated on how much time remained in their 90-minute slot — a genuinely helpful touch when darting between races — and you kept your table for the duration of the fixture, giving you a comfortable base to leave coats, bags, and drinks between races.

In summary, Newcastle’s Bottomless Brunch Package in the Park View Suite delivers fantastic value for money, combining premium drinks and quality food with attentive, friendly service. The atmosphere is relaxed yet lively, and the team go the extra mile to make sure everything runs smoothly. Whether you’re there for the racing, the social experience, or both, it’s a superb way to enjoy an evening under the lights at Newcastle Racecourse.
