Beverley RACECOURSE - The PADDOCK CLUB - HOSPITALITY
Paddock Club – Beverley Racecourse
On arrival at Beverley Racecourse, guests to the Paddock Club are welcomed with a chilled glass of Prosecco and shown straight to their table. The restaurant is located on the first floor, offering a relaxed atmosphere with its own bar, tote facilities and toilets, plus uninterrupted views of the parade ring and track from both the dining area and the private balcony.
Tables are reserved for the day, with Prosecco poured at the table before guests are invited to choose from a selection of platters – meat, fish, vegetarian or vegan. Fresh bread rolls are brought round before food is served, and portion sizes are generous.
• Meat Platter: Terrine and pâté alongside a medium-rare slice of cold beef, pork loin, chicken breast, pork pie, new potatoes, salad, tomatoes, piccalilli, and bread and butter.
• Fish Platter: Cold-water prawns, smoked salmon, poached salmon, smoked mackerel, octopus and mussels, with new potatoes, fresh salad, Marie Rose sauce and lemon.
• Vegetarian/Vegan Options: Served with sides including coleslaw, pasta salad and potato salad for the whole table to share.
Dessert comes in the form of a rich chocolate brownie served with vanilla ice cream and a strawberry garnish, which you can request at any point during the afternoon to suit the racing action.
Drinks are served via the bar after the initial glass of Prosecco. The Paddock Club itself only offers Guinness in a can (£6.60), which may disappoint those who prefer draught. However, a key perk of this package is full access to the Premier Enclosure, home to one of the best bar setups on course. Here, draught Guinness (£7.60) is poured to perfection – creamy, well-balanced, and served in a glass. Guests can also enjoy the spritz bar for refreshing summer cocktails. From the Premier Enclosure you have access to the trackside viewing terrace by the winning post, plus padded seating in the main stand with panoramic views across the course.
The real highlight of the Paddock Club is its balcony, situated directly above the weighing room. This offers a bird’s-eye view of the parade ring, where you can watch the horses saddle, the jockeys legged up, and the runners head down to the start. After each race, you see the winners return, wash down, prize presentation and interview, all taking place right in front of you.
One thing to note is that after the first race, the Paddock Club bar opens to the public. It’s best to arrive early, enjoy your food and secure your table, which you can then use as a base for the whole day.
At £70 per person, the Paddock Club hospitality package at Beverley combines hearty dining, superb parade ring views, and access to the best facilities on course. With the flexibility of the Premier Enclosure included, it offers an excellent balance between hospitality comfort and the authentic raceday atmosphere.
