The Paddock Preview is a racing platform dedicated to showcasing the raceday experience in its entirety for racing fans across Britain, Ireland and beyond.

Founded through a genuine passion for the sport, we’ve now attended more than 90 racecourses between us, with Jimma visiting 48 tracks and Matty 45. Our journey has taken us from some of the biggest stages in racing, including Royal Ascot and the Cheltenham Festival, to iconic international meetings such as the Punchestown Festival, Listowel Harvest Festival, Deauville-La Touques and ParisLongchamp. We’ve experienced renowned racing destinations including Galway and Naas, alongside brilliant grassroots days at tracks such as Thirsk and Brighton.

Racecourse reviews remain an important part of The Paddock Preview, with our signature six-category scorecard covering track views, parade ring access, food quality, Guinness quality, runners and riders, and overall atmosphere. Alongside our reviews, we create dedicated food and Guinness content, as well as written and video guides covering what racegoers can expect from the complete raceday experience.

But The Paddock Preview goes far beyond the racecourse itself.

We bring racing fans closer to the sport, with exclusive yard visits, behind-the-scenes access, interviews with jockeys, trainers and racing personalities, coverage of major festivals, and a growing focus on the people and experiences that make racing what it is.

We also regularly cover British point-to-point racing, showcasing the grassroots side of the sport and the unique atmosphere, accessibility and authenticity that point-to-point meetings offer.

We believe there is far more to racing than the biggest meetings on the calendar. While Royal Ascot, Cheltenham and other major festivals naturally attract huge attention, there are countless brilliant and often more affordable days waiting to be discovered at smaller racecourses, local meetings and point-to-points.

Our aim is simple: to showcase racing from every angle.

From the biggest festivals and iconic international meetings to hidden gems, grassroots racing, yards and the people behind the sport, The Paddock Preview is here to help racing fans discover more, experience more and get more from every raceday.

At its heart, The Paddock Preview is about sharing our passion for racing, providing genuine and useful insight, and bringing fans closer to the sport we love.
